It’s sad that this didn’t seem like a big deal when I pulled up and handed the pharmacist my card. Of course, he was shocked by the price. I guess it’s not common for insurance companies to bestow non-practical expectations on their clients. $4,800 of meds in a little over a month and everything is covered at 100% for the rest of the year. Now I just have to sit back and think of all of the medical appointments/procedures I need to catch up on.

This is comedy.

  1. Thank you! I would be dishonest if I suggested negative emotions didn't precede my positivity. Self-pity is a poison that is always on the table. I fight the urge to drink from it on a daily basis, but my greatest allies, I have found, are perspective, gratitude, and purpose. I am so thankful God has provided me the grace and wisdom to really wrap my head around that. It has taken a lot of prayer. Breathing easy until next year!
